Dog Boarding

Set in seven acres of private parkland, Karenswood offers kennel accommodation for all breeds of dog, of every temperament. Our traditional kennels will provide your dog with a sociable and open environment with activities throughout the day to keep their canine bodies and minds occupied and happy.

Long lead exercise, conducted over our own acreage, provides dogs with the opportunity for relative freedom to wander and sniff at will! This “one to one” experience, away from the kennel area, also creates a happy, trusting relationship with the staff who are on duty all day every day in order to provide the most professional care and attention for your dog.

During the day, each dog has access to its own private internal kennel which extends into an individual external run. These daytime runs are open plan, allowing the dogs to socialise and interact with their neighbours whilst being safeguarded by the dividing mesh panels. Our years of experience has shown that this social interaction and activity is essential and helps to prevent your dog from suffering the initial separation anxiety  –  especially when left for the first time.
